A kitty named Wilson

Leigh Ann and I were headed home from Greenville (coming back from terrible ECU game) when we decided to stop by a store in Wilson to get something to drink. When I walked in the store I heard a constant loud meow. In a small room behind the counter the store clerk had trapped a stray cat that had snuck into the store (eating chips and candy at night) several days earlier. We decided that this kitten needed a home. The clerk was happy to oblige. This picture is the first day home...needless to say "Wilson" is a little apprehensive about her new digs. Well, I took her to the vet to get her checked out and sadly she tested positive for FIV (feline version of HIV-only transferable cat to cat). There is a good chance that she doesn't have it and that the virus is just the antibodies let over from her mother. We won't know for another 3 months if she is really positive or not. We haven't decided if we are going to keep her or not. For right now we have to keep her separated from Pun'kin

As you can tell, after day 2 she started getting comfortable...

I think I'm in trouble

Uncle Paul, I can't believe I didn't know you had a blog! Why didn't I know this sooner? I'm so glad that dad mentioned it to me...looking forward to catching up with what I've missed. I did get your message that you left on my voicemail a while back...thanks for the encouragement. We are doing well and loving parenthood. See you in November, if not sooner!
