Uncle Sam and me
My sister Stella and I went to visit our Uncle Sam and Aunt Prissy this past weekend. We had a good time catching up and reminiscing about growing up in the country. While there, we also went into DC to see the World War II Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial. Our Uncle Pete served as a paratrooper in WWII and Stella's brother-in-law served in Vietnam.

This is my Uncle Pete (actual name was Arthur Earl). He died while serving as a paratrooper in WWII.
This is my Granny Flores. She died in the early 70's. I have great memories of her.
